What is Brewing Cacao?

Brewing cacao, also known as cacao tea or cacao infusion, is a delightful beverage.  While others may use roasted husks or shells of the cacao bean, we believe in using the entire bean thereby creating a unique and invigorating drink.

The Process

Our brewing cacao begins with the careful selection of premium cacao beans sourced from sustainable farms. We meticulously roast the beans to bring out their distinct flavors and aromas.

When ground and steeped in hot water, the cacao releases a symphony of flavors, ranging from floral and fruity notes to hints of earthiness and nuttiness. The result is a smooth and comforting beverage that captivates the palate with every sip.

Flavor Profiles

Just like fine wine or specialty coffee, brewing cacao offers a diverse range of flavor profiles, each influenced by factors such as origin, roasting technique, and terroir. From the bold and robust notes of dark chocolate to the delicate sweetness of tropical fruits, there's a brewing cacao to suit every taste preference.

Health Benefits

In addition to its exquisite taste, brewing cacao boasts a plethora of health benefits. Rich in antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins, cacao is known for its potential to support heart health, lower blood pressure, improve mood, and boost cognitive function.

Low Caffeine Alternative

Cacao, the primary ingredient in chocolate, offers a delightful alternative to coffee for those seeking a lower caffeine intake. Unlike coffee, which can sometimes lead to jitters and crashes, cacao provides a gentle energy boost without the same level of stimulation. Its naturally occurring compounds, such as theobromine, contribute to a smoother, longer-lasting energy lift compared to the abrupt spike often associated with coffee.  Cacao presents a delicious and health-conscious option for those looking to reduce their caffeine consumption.
