How to Brew Cacao in a Press Pot
Share
Our brewing cacao arrives ground and ready to brew. A press pot (French press) is our recommended method.
What you need
- Our ground brewing cacao
- A press pot or French press
- Hot water
- A mug and a timer
Steps
- Add about 2 somewhat rounded tablespoons of cacao per mug to the press pot.
- Add hot water.
- Steep for 10 minutes.
- Give the grounds a gentle stir.
- Press slowly and pour.
Adjust the amount of cacao to taste. Add milk, sweetener or spices if you like.
Brew a second cup
Like tea, the cacao grounds can be re-infused a second time.
